Beautiful Wedding Dresses For Less Than £600

Hi & Welcome to our how much does your wedding cost series special....

I know from personal experience that planning your wedding can be both a joy with more than a few bridezilla moments thrown in, And that you want to start with the most important, The no1 on your big list of wishes for your perfect day.....You want to find the most beautiful and perfect dress in the world.. You know the one that is going to make you feel like a beautiful fairy princess on your special day, Even if on most days your in jeans and trainers and don't do girly and not a dress person at all... You still want the perfect dress....( This was totally me )

Trying on dresses that you would not normally wear can be fun, But it can also be totally overwhelming, And you can bet your last pound you will fall in love with the one dress that is totally way over budget, My advice take your most trusted friend, The one who won't lie and will tell you that yes that dress is horrible on you, And the one who will cry with you when you know you've found the one...
But and its a big but the cost of a wedding dress is guesswork and you will probably go to every shop in town..and I suggest you do as each shop is different with a different feel and will have different price points.

So I thought I would help and put together this little guide to give you some ideas for what wedding dresses can cost, I have scoured the net and my mountain of wedding guides to bring you some dresses and ideas of cost...The first will feature dresses that cost £600 or less.

But heres a few hints/tips first...
Check out secondhand/preloved bridal dress shops & sites...We have a fab little shop here in Beverley  East Yorkshire called Bridal Reloved They also have a branch down in dorchester.
Sample sales, vintage and charity stores can be a treasure trove of beautiful gowns if your on a tight budget.

Choosing a coloured dress could save you money, Think pale pink, softest grey or gold, If you have your heart set on a designer gown I beg of you please do not use the not so infamous site for knock of gowns you know the one I am talking about, The one where you can get a designer dress from china for £50, Trust me on this you can't and I hear and have heard so many horror stories from brides that were left in tears....

So a couple more tips, Decide what you want to spend a min and the max you definitely won't/can't go over and find out where you can go for your budget, Do your research...Research...did I tell you to research xx make google your best friend ( I did ) My husband lost me to google for hours at a time...

Best high street stores for brides on a budget.. Monsoon, Coast, Debenhams, Phase Eight they all do bridal ranges.

Or why to use a dressmaker, You can then put your unique spin on your dress and it will be totally you, This is what I ended up doing after going to eery shop and trying on virtually every dress with nothing feeling completely me or what I wanted, And my best friend suggested a wedding dress maker she knew, I will be forever glad she did as I had the dress of my dreams that was totally me and it was pink with Swarovski crystals with a fab train and I felt like a true princess....

So without further waffling here are the dresses I liked and found for £600 and under...

Below is the stunning Crystal dress from Virgos Lounge, Perfect for an informal/register office wedding, It is a long sleeved maxi dress with all over silver embellishment.. Cost £240.00

Next up is the Taylor dress again from Virgos Lounge, This dress would be perfect for a Beach/Boho/Festival wedding as its lightweight with gorgeous gold detailing... Cost £161 as its in the sale at the moment..

Next up is a cute little number from Asos and its by Chi Chi London, it is a knee length metallic dress to me this is a little vintage inspired with a pretty Bardot neckline and a steal at only £67.00

Another pretty dress is the Summer Rose by Kitty and Dulchie, Again it is a feminine intricate ivory lace knee length dress.. Cost £345 and is available online only.

Heres a dress I fell in love with as you can wear it different ways plus it comes in so many beautiful soft and muted colours.. It is the Annabelle dress from BHLDN, It is made from the softest tulle and the cost is just $260 dollars which Is around £200 in GBP, You could even then pair this with the Mischka belt again from BHLDN but to be honest all their belts are beautiful and any would go with this stunning dress..

Another pretty dress from BHLDN  is the Ascott dress which is made from polyester tulle and which has glass beads and sequin embellishment in a champagne/gold colour..Cost $360 around £300 in GBP..

Last but not least is The pretty Crazy For You Dress from Kitty & Dulchie this is a feminine ivory satin, lace and tulle knee length dress with a hint of retro.. Cost £365.

I hope I have given you a little taste of whats out there for a small budget, If you have a larger budget keep an eye out for the next installment of this series... Dresses from £1.000 to £5,000..

Till next time...

Hugs & Wishes
Lisa xx
